The Dolls

The Dolls are a collection of creatures I’ve seen, imagined, or pieced together from bits of many stories. Each one feels like a small world—part memory, part dream, part invention. Their feral little faces often feature eyepatches, bloodshot eyes, and snarled smiles. I make the yarns from ribbons, fabric, and fibers, and no patterns are used—each is shaped by hand as a unique soft sculpture.
